I'm into offroading (in a 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 or 1968 Unimog 416 DoKa camper) and camping, hot springs, fresh-squeezed margaritas, Baja California, the Saline Valley, fiery exotic cuisines, TaB cola, Land Rovers, no tan lines, planning for the Apocalypse, Legos, massage therapy, Speed Uno, and Negra Modelo.

<br>My other favorite destinations are beaches; long stretches of clear sand, a tropical breeze, gentle surf. Mostly in Mexico: the Yucatan Peninsula and Baja California / the Sea of Cortez.

<br>Locally, I enjoy hiking in the San Gabriel Mountains. I'm also always on the lookout for new culinary adventure. My palate is pretty varied, but I'm especially keen on strong and exotic flavors ... bring on the habaneros!
